Events

Queen Square has become a dynamic event destination in the heart of the city. The square has successfully hosted an exciting range of events including music concerts, outdoor cinema, business exhibitions and open air theatre. Annual flagship events, such as the Harbour Festival and the Square Sessions, successfully colonise the space with stages, markets and marquees. The square is also an increasingly popular site for community and business events, such as the annual petanque competition run by the Queen Square Association and for field marketing activities, such as product launches and promotional activities.
